Internacional.- La la Academia de la Grabación de Estados Unidos dio a conocer la lista de los nominados para la 66 edición de los Grammy, misma que se desarrollará por nueva cuenta en el arenaCrypto.com el próximo 4 de febrero de 2024.
En esta ceremonia se contará con tres nuevas categorías: mejor interpretación de música africana, mejor grabación pop dance y mejor álbum de jazz alternativo.
Quien opta por su primera nominación es el cantante mexicano Peso Pluma en la categoría de mejor álbum de música mexicana (incluyendo tejano) con su álbum “Génesis”. Los demás álbumes nominadas son “La Sánchez”, de Lila Downs; “Bordado a Mano”, de Ana Bárbara; “Motherflower”, de Flor de Toloache, y “Amor como en las películas de antes”, de Lupita Infante. Por otra parte el mexicano Edgar Barrera se llevó la nominación como compositor del año.
Otros latinos nominados son Karol G, con “Mañana será bonito”, y el del puertorriqueño Rauw Alejandro, “Saturno”, compiten en la categoría de mejor álbum de música urbana.
Dentro de las más nominadas se encuentran Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, además Arctic Monkeys y Foo Fighters.
